Detective: I received a call June 6, 2010 10:37p.m about a homicide at a parking garage on my day off. I kissed my wife goodbye and arrived on the scene as soon as I could to meet my partner Detective Elizabeth Benson. My partner she took me over to the crime scene to identify the dead body. We discovered it was Mark Smith, a well known playboy throughout the city had been brutally stabbed to death. He was stabbed multiple times in the abdomen and back. Blood was everywhere, but we had work to do and a lot of questions to ask. We did all the work we could do on the scene and then preceded to head back to headquarters to right a formal report up. Mark Smith, murdered June 6, 9:30 p.m, location at V.I.P parking garage body found on the driver side of homicide victim's vehicle (Ferrari), body found by Dr. Cliff Huxtuble.
Coroner: I received the body of Mark Smith on June 7, 12:01 a.m. The subject was very well taken care off, athletic built, no tattoos, no missing teeth or birth marks. Mr. Smith was stabbed according to forensics for a total of twenty times in the abdomen and lower back. Running tests on the body we believe the subject was stabbed with a kitchen knife. This is the fourth stabbing of the year in Gloom County. The stabbing of the subject appears to not have any relations to previous stabbing that have occurred earlier this year.
Eulogy: Thanks, I'm honored to be here today to celebrate the life of a man who loved many. Mark was a man who loved to give. He loved life, traveling, business but most importantly we all know mark loved woman. Mark was honest about his relations with woman, he respected and loved them all very much so. There are many woman here today who loved and cared about Mark but we all know Mark loved one woman in particular more than any other, his mother. His mother is here today, saddened by her lost of her only son, who provided and cared for her more than anything in the world. A mother should't have to bury her son! A mother should't have to bear this pain! She will not hurt because her son is alive in all of us, he's alive in all the good work he's done across the city, he's alive in all the building, statues and monuments dedicated to him. So for that reason mark is still here, and he will tell us who's done this! Because great men don't die, Mark has not died, he has become greater!
Lawyer: Ladies and Gentleman of the Jury, it's a sad day when a good man like Mark Smith is brutally murdered. It's an even sadder day when he's murdered by his own mother! The woman he loved so, so much he stayed by her side until his dying day. His dying day! Where his mother was waiting in the parking garage to kill her only son because he was getting married. He wanted to leave that playboy lifestyle in the past, get married and raise a family but his mother didn't see it that way. She only saw through her selfish, malicious eyes her son leaving her just like his father, so she couldn't have that, so she murdered him in cold blood and left his body alone! Mark never wanted to be alone, that's why he loved so much, Mark just wanted good company, a friend, a companion. I ask you, the jury today to love justice and be a good friend to wisdom, common sense and truth because that's all you need because the evidence is right before your eyes. In plain common sense, in ice cold blood, the evidence is right before you, the murderer of a great man is here in this court room today and all you need to do is think about Mark Smith as a good friend of yours and do the right thing today.
